MALOCH has one root experience and two clearly named alternate Places in the same official Universe: a 25-player destination and a VC-only destination. Roblox public game data reports a maximum of 20 players for the root experience. The Places API proves the alternate Places exist, but does not publish their entry menu, live capacity, transfer rules, objective differences, revive behavior, or badge parity. Choose a mode by what you can verify, then record the Place before comparing gameplay.

MALOCH
The standard official entry. Roblox public game data reports a maximum of 20 players for the root experience.

MALOCH // 25 PLAYERS
An official same-Universe Place whose name identifies a larger-player destination. Public data does not describe the live entry or gameplay differences.
Best for: testing a larger lobby after the current game exposes the route.

MALOCH // VC ONLY
An official voice-oriented Place. Roblox voice eligibility, region, and account settings can affect access before MALOCH-specific mechanics are considered.
Best for: a coordinated voice session with eligible accounts.
Official Place; detection rules need testingOpen VC-only guideThe Universe also lists Molokk // Game, Place 133165557563072. Its purpose and player entry path are not publicly explained. It is recorded as part of the official Universe identity but is not treated as an independent player mode or direct-launch recommendation.
Choose a mode by your actual goal
Use the standard root experience when you want the clearest baseline. Its identity, public-server state, and 20-player maximum are exposed through the Roblox Games API. A normal route learned there is the best point of comparison for badges, sound behavior, and update-related changes.
Choose the 25-player Place only when the live MALOCH interface, creator page, or current session exposes a trustworthy route into it. A larger group can search and communicate faster, but it also creates more movement, noise, split routes, and possible performance variation. The Place name alone cannot tell you whether the office, threat, objective, or completion trigger changes.
Choose VC Only when every intended player can use Roblox voice and accepts a voice-centered session. Roblox currently says eligible users must be at least 13 and age checked, with regional availability differences. The mode name does not prove which sounds the MALOCH threat detects. Use the Sound Detection guide to keep voice, sight, movement, and interaction claims separate.
Before the group joins
Have one person open the official root page, confirm the creator, and launch first. If the game offers a mode selector or teleport, use that live surface rather than distributing an unexplained direct Place URL. Record where the whole party lands and whether anyone remains behind.
Coordinate a multiplayer escape
Give the group three roles even if players switch them later: a route lead, a threat watcher, and a rear confirmation. The route lead names landmarks and interactions. The watcher reports visible threat direction without inventing an AI state. The rear confirms that everyone cleared a doorway or mode transfer.
Use short location language: “terminal desk,” “lit partition,” “dark corridor,” and “last opened door” are more useful than “over here.” If voice availability differs, agree on a fallback signal before entering a risky segment. The public evidence does not define whether text or external party voice affects the threat, so do not promise that one channel is mechanically safe.
Compare modes correctly
Run the same short route segment in the standard Place first. Save the UTC date, player count, Place ID, visible objective, and result. Then compare one alternate Place with a similar group. If the route or behavior changes, describe the observed difference without deciding the cause from a single session.
For example, more chases in a large lobby can come from more players, more sound, different positions, or a mode rule. A missing badge in VC Only can come from player state, mode behavior, server delay, or an update. Preserve each observation and avoid turning correlation into a complete ruleset.
Mode questions still requiring live tests
The current public records do not explain party transfer, join-in-progress, private servers, shared objectives, death sharing, revive rules, spectating, voice enforcement, mute handling, alternate maps, threat scaling, pass behavior, or badge eligibility. The 25-player label does not independently verify a live 25-player server cap. The VC-only label does not independently explain how the monster uses voice.
These missing fields should not block you from playing. Use the standard root experience for the most documented entry, follow the current interface into alternates, and leave unsupported details out of group promises.
Troubleshoot mode entry
A friend cannot follow the transfer
Confirm Roblox account access, server availability, and voice eligibility where relevant. Return to the root experience and retry the in-game route once. Do not use an unrelated external teleport link.
The party lands in different servers
Record the Place and server each player reached. Rejoin through the same party or server workflow shown by Roblox. Public sources do not guarantee party preservation across Places.
VC Only has no voice controls
Check Roblox’s current age-check, region, device permission, and in-experience voice settings. A missing voice control can be an account or platform issue before it is a MALOCH issue.
The route or badge differs
Treat the alternate Place as its own session result. Compare with the standard route and use You Escaped Badge for a structured completion record.
Next guide
Start with Multiplayer for the standard public experience. Use 25 Player Mode for large-lobby preparation and VC Only Mode for voice eligibility and cautious communication. The Escape hub owns the route itself, while Threats owns detection evidence.
